My Qualifications For Surveying

Having spent just shy of 1000 hours in vocational training, I immediately applied for a General Contractors License with the State of Florida after graduation and upon receipt I embarked on a business in residential and commercial construction. In 1991 I started doing Electrical construction as well. In 1995 I sat for exams and earned a registered State of Florida Electrical Contractors License. In 1997 I was upgraded by the state to Certified Unlimited Master Electrician and my license was upgraded accordingly.

This year marks 30 years of state licensure with not one complaint or statutory infraction against any of my companies. COLE ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL INC. LIC.# EC13001992 being my current holding. During my life I have also built quite an affinity for boats of all types.

I have assisted my father in operation of his Tugboat serving as cook, deckhand, navigator and pilot. I became an avid sailor after purchasing a 25’ Catalina single mast sailboat. I also purchased a 27’ Sportcraft Sports fisher with cabin and converted it from blown I/O power to twin outboard engines. Everything was gutted and reinstalled by myself without outside help including all fuel systems, electrical systems, new electronics and paint and coatings for decks and hull. Returned to like new condition, I operated this vessel for about 5 years before selling it and moving on to other Marine projects. I chalk my ability to work so well on boats to my construction background and my ample time spent as a youth assisting older boatwrights in building and repairing commercial fishing vessels which with growing up in Apalachicola there was no shortage of. This is how I spent after school hours and then weekends once I started my construction company.
